MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Jul 21) After Donald and the BMS Team found their car problem at Needmore Speedway and scored a second place finish the next two races at Screven and Cochran Motor Speedways were not what they wanted or needed them to be.

At Screven on Saturday night Donald qualified fastest in Group B, finished second in their heat, started sixth and finished 11th. It was their worst finish in the first eight races of the 12 race Southern National Series.

“Car is better we just need to get our act together and make better calls on tweaking it and better choices on tires,” said David.

Sunday night at Cochran it was a slick one lane race track. They started sixth and finished sixth.

“Slick one groove race track and we put on a soft tire to see if we could get past a couple cars on the start, but that didn’t work out. So Donald didn’t have any other choice but to ride around for the rest of it. We have four tracks coming up that we have run well at so if we can make some better decisions we should be fine,” concluded David.

Tonight the racing will be at Tri-County Race Track in Brasstown, NC. After taking Wednesday off racing will resume at Crossville on Thursday, 411 on Friday and the Finale on Saturday at Tazewell.
