MARYVILLE, Tenn (May 25) Billy and Blount Motorsports clinched the 2014 Old Man’s Garage Spring Nationals Championship Saturday night with a second place finish at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia.
In the 10 races held at nine tracks in four states Billy and the BMS Team had one win, 6 tops fives and three top 10 finishes on their way to accumulating 1,704 points to win the championship.
“This is a great way to start the season and we would like to thank Ray Cook, Old Man’s Garage, the race tracks and everyone who was responsible for putting the series together,” said Larry. “We would also like to thank our sponsors, fans and everyone on the Blount Motorsports Team who were part of making our championship effort a success.”
Billy and Blount Motorsports has a full slate of racing ahead and their sights set on becoming the first team to win both the Spring Nationals and the Southern Nationals in the same season.

Drive train components are from Quarter Master, the shocks are Öhlins, chassis and suspension components from TWM and springs from Hyperco. For parts and pieces it’s J.T. Kerr Racing Equipment and tires its Hoosier Racing Tires.
