MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 28) Blount Motorsports located next door to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Maryville, TN is actively seeking a crew chief for its Dirt Late Model team. Blount Motorsports races Rocket Chassis with power from Custom Race Engines out of a state of the art fully equipped shop.

“We have a top quality team with the best of everything. All we are lacking is a crew chief,” said driver and one of the team’s owners Tommy Kerr. “We are looking to spend more time running the big races in the southeast as well as going to the premier events like the World 100 in 2010.”

In 2009 while spending more time with the Lucas Oil Series and WoO Late Model Series the team picked up a number of local victories and won Ray Cook’s Southern Nationals Championship.

“In the last year with Gary Winger as our crew chief we learned a lot and matured as a team. With Gary leaving to spend all of his time on his business, we are looking for another quality crew chief,” said team owner Larry Garner. “We are fortunate to be located in the middle of a number of great race tracks. Tracks that host major events all season long, because it would be impossible for us to spend the time it would take to follow either of the two major circuits full time.”

If you have the knowledge and experience it takes to crew chief a top quality Dirt Late Model team fax your resume to 865-984-4442, mail it to Blount Motorsports 2622 Hill Court Maryville, TN 37803 or email it to boba@blountmotorsports.com
