MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Dec. 8) Donald raced his way to a second place finish in the Drydene Xtreme DIRTcar Series Grinch 40 at Volunteer Speedway Saturday afternoon.

Missing the redraw by one finishing spot in his heat Dponald started the Blount Motorsport Rocket ninth on the grid. He moved past Kyle Strickler for second on the 26th lap of the 40-lap event and chased winner Madden to the checkered flag.

“Everything came together really well. We had a good car, Donald did a good job and we had a good day,” said David. “This was one of our better runs lately and it feels good.”

It was questionable whether Donald was going to be able to race The Hangover on January first, but it looks like he will be able to.

“It looks like Donald will be able to juggle his schedule New Years day and race The Hangover. It is always confusing whether that is the last race of this season or the first race of next season, but we will be there,” concluded David.
