MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 11) After going to the pits with a flat tire Donald was able to work his way from the rear to finish eleventh in the Showdown at Senoia Raceway and pad his Southern National Bonus Series point lead over David Payne.
Donald finished third in the first heat, started ninth in the feature and was battling with Scott Bloomquist for sixth when he had the flat.
“The car was good and Donald did a great job all weekend especially coming back from the rear to get a decent finish,” said David. “We have found the consistency with the car we have been looking for all season. It is a shame that there are only two races remaining for us this year, but we will go into the six week off season feeling good about next year.”
The 28th Annual Gobbler at Boyd’s Speedway this Saturday night will be final Southern National Bonus Series event. On the following Saturday, November 26, the race at 411 Motor Speedway will be the season finale for BMS.
