MARYVILLE, Tenn. (May 22) For the first time this season Donald McIntosh and the Blount Motorsports team had a less than stellar run.

On Saturday night at 411 Motor Speedway for the Sizzler they qualified fourth in the second group, ran third in the third heat, started 16th and finished 19th in the feature.

This was the first time in seven races that they had finished outside the top five.

“I made a bad choice, we started out bad and it didn’t get any better,” said David “In fact things got worse when the motor started getting hot.

Man, that engine is a good one and I hope it isn’t hurt. Vic (Hill) looked at it and replaced a head gasket that looked like it was seeping. Hope that’s all it is.”

Donald and the BMS team will head to Thunderhill Raceway Park on Saturday night and back to 411 Motor Speedway on Memorial Monday for the Scott Sexton Memorial.
