MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 15) Donald enjoyed a good run in the Fall Nationals Gobbler at Boyd’s Speedway Saturday night coming home with a third place finish.
Starting on the outside second row McIntosh got fast about 20 laps into the 50-lap event. He went by the third and second place cars and was working on leader Page when a caution came out.
“We had a really good car, but it took it four or five laps to get going and there were a lot of cautions. We only had one good run and we were all over Michael (Page) when another caution came out,” said David. “We have one more race in the series and then we will look at possibly running a couple more races before Christmas.”
The 2020 season for motorsports and all sports has been an adventure. The Friday night Fall Nationals Series race at Tri-County Race Track that was scheduled after previous races had been weathered out has also been cancelled. McIntosh leads the championship points going into the last race of the series, the Billy Clanton Memorial at Saturday night at Senoia Raceway.
