MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Jun 6) Donald started seventh and finished 10th in the Lucas Oil Toyota of Knoxville 50 at Tazewell Speedway Friday Night.

When the green flag fell Donald started moving toward the front and was running fourth when the caution flag flew on the sixteenth circuit. On the restart the car turned into a handful and was not the car it had been before the caution.

“Things were looking good and Donald had moved up to fourth before the caution came out on lap 16,” said David, who to that point had liked their chances of a good finish. “After the caution Donald had his hands full with the car and it wasn’t close to being as good as it was before the caution.”

After the race they found the right rear tire had one pound of air in it.

“We will go over the car when we get back to the shop. Hopefully the right rear with one pound of air in it is the culprit,” concluded David.

The team will make the decision about racing the Carolina Clash event at Volunteer Speedway this Saturday night in the next day or two. Check blountmotorsports.com for schedule updates and team information.
