MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Oct. 27) Donald piloted the BMS Rocket to a fifth place finish in the Fall Nationals Tar Heel 50, Friday night at Tri-County Race Track.

Donald, who started third, finished fifth had a car that was just a tick off as the frustration continues for the team.

“The track was better than we thought and we over adjusted the car and ended up too tight,” said David. “We have been a little off all season and haven’t been able to build any consistency.”

“Its frustrating. What worked before isn’t working now,” said Donald. “We just haven’t figured out what route to take to get to where we need to be, but we will.”

With the Fall Nationals’ Billy Clanton Classic moved to November 21 BMS will have until just before Thanksgiving starting with this weekends Halloween Spooktacular at Wythe Raceway and the Fall Nationals race at Boyd’s  to work on things.

Spoiler alert. With a lot of races scheduled between Thanksgiving and Christmas there might be more additions to the schedule.
