MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 17) Donald started 11th, ran as high as eighth and ended up finishing 11th in the Turkey Throwdown at Boyd’s Speedway on Saturday night.
After starting 11th Donald was able to work his way up to eighth, but was trapped racing in the low groove when a number of cars went by up high and relegated him to an 11th place finish.
“It was a subpar night with nothing great or nothing bad happening. We continue to work on getting better,” said David. “The Gobbler at Cleveland Saturday night is our last race of the season and then there is less than six weeks including the holidays before the first race in 2016. No problem with staying busy in this business.”
Donald and the team were considering racing at North Georgia on Thursday night, but decided it would be better to go to Cleveland and get some practice in for the Gobbler.
