MARYVILLE, Tenn. (May 22) Donald McIntosh and the Blount Motorsports Team had a good run on Friday night at Crossville Speedway and a bad run at Richmond Raceway on Saturday night with both runs ending with a less than desirable finish.

On Friday night for the Spring Nationals event at Crossville Speedway McIntosh set fast time, started on the pole was running second and spun out and went to the rear. He worked his way back to sixth when he spun out and went back to the rear. He was working his way toward the front when he tangled with a lap car. He was scored ninth.

On Saturday night McIntosh and the team took their first provisional, started in the back and were moving up a little when they went back to the rear. It was one of those nights and they ended up 16th in the final tally.

“We were pretty good on Friday night and Saturday night we were really bad. We keep plugging along and trying to hit on the right combination,” said David Bryant. “We have four in a row coming up over the Memorial Weekend and we will just have to wait and see what happens with that.”

Over the Memorial Weekend the Blount Motorsports Team will be racing at Boyd’s Speedway on Friday night, Dixie Speedway on Saturday night, Rome Speedway on Sunday night and Tri-County Race Track on Monday.
