MARYVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 28) Donald and Blount Motorsports closed out a very successful 2016 season with a third place finish in The Leftovers at 411 Motor Speedway Saturday.

Donald qualified and started third on the grid. He was able to get by Jimmy Owens for second, but one of the numerous cautions came out and put him back to third.

“We had a good car and a good run,” said David. “As usual we over adjusted a little bit and were a little tight, but the car has been real consistent and that is what we have been looking for all season.”

“It has been an awesome year for this team,” said Donald. “We have had our ups and downs, but we won six races, two championships and everything is in great shape for the 2017 season.”

Driving a Crate Late Model from Chip Vineyard Racing, Donald started fourth and finished third for a pair of third place finishes on Saturday.
