MARYVILLE, Tenn. (June 13) With a third place finish in the Lucas Oil event at Tazewell Speedway and a runner up finish in the Ultimate event at Volunteer Speedway the strong finishes continue for Billy Ogle Jr. and the Blount Motorsports Team.

After strong runs in the early season the team picked up its first win of the season in late May. They had hoped to add more trips to the winner’s circle, but this hasn’t happened. However they continue to have strong runs and know the wins will come.

“We have been pleased with how we are running,” said Larry Garner. “It bodes well for our program, but in the same breath it is frustrating to be running that well and only have one win to show for it.”

In East Tennessee Vic Hill has had the winning hand of late and this Saturday night at Smoky Mountain Speedway Ogle and teammate Tommy Kerr hope to have something for the Mosheim, TN hot shoe.

“Vic (Hill) has been good lately there is not doubt about it,” said Ogle who has been racing with Hill for years. “He has won three races in a row and we are going to see what we can do to make sure it isn’t four this Saturday night at the Mountain.”

Ogle, Kerr and the BMS Team will be at Smoky Mountain Speedway for the running of the 2nd Annual Big Daddy 500 sanctioned by the Ultimate Super Late Model Series.
