Casey is a third generation driver with both his grandfather, George “Fireball” Roberts and his father Smoky Roberts racing at tracks in the Toccoa, Georgia area. He raced go karts in his early teens and started racing stock cars when he was 18. After a couple years racing Hobby and limited he moved to Super Late Models.

He joined forces with car owners Jimmy and Ann Cushman in 2002 and during their 15 year relationship they won a number of Southern Allstar East Championships, three Ultimate Championships and won more races, 20, than any other driver in the history of the Ultimate Series. In 2015 he picked up Ray Cook’s Southern Nationals Series Championship.

On top of regional wins and championships he has won two Lucas Oil Series and one WoO features. The WoO feature win came at Volusia County Speedway and put a gator trophy on his mantle.

Casey becomes the fourth driver in Blount Motorsports’ 11 years history. The addition of Casey to the team and his pairing with David Bryant has the potential to be something special. Everyone at BMS is excited to see how the 2018 season will unfold.
