Tommy and the BMS team went to Toccoa Speedway last Saturday night to get a first look at the third mile speed plant before the Advance Thunder event this Saturday. They finished seventh in the Late Model feature.

“We had never been to Toccoa before and wanted to have a better idea of the track before we went there this Saturday for the Thunder race,” said Kerr. It’s sporty, fast and you can pass on it.”

Kerr, who after two Advance Thunder races is currently fourth in points, went on to say that the past weekend was a good one.

“If we hadn’t had fuel pump problems that caused the miss in the engine at Volunteer we would have had a top three finish instead of tenth and the trip to Toccoa will pay dividends this weekend,” continued Tommy who with the team is getting the new Rayburn dialed in. “What you want to do this time of year is to get everything dialed in and working the way you want it, because when the season really gets going you have so little time to do anything but race.”

The next race for the BMS team will be the Advanced Thunder event at Toccoa Speedway on Saturday March 31.
