Tommy was turned into the wall on the first lap of the Late Model feature Friday night at North Georgia Speedway.
"I have heard a number of versions of what happened, but all I know for sure is Ronnie Johnson got into me and I got into the wall big time," said Tommy. "I didn't have enough time to lift and hit the wall a ton."
On Saturday Tommy and the crew took the engine out of the wrecked car and put it in the Rayburn for Saturday night's Advance Thunder Race at Dixie Speedway. He qualified 10th and finished ninth.
"As bad as I was hurting I was just please we were able to do as well as we did at Dixie. I am still hurting and we are going to take the week off to get everything, including myself, back together," concluded Tommy.
